September 2020 – QMetrix has secured a contract with the City of Sydney to provide a Customer Master Record Solution and Data Management Platform for the Unified Customer View Project.
The project will play a key role in assisting the City of Sydney to deliver a core project underpinning their Smart City vision. The vision is to harness technology and data to enable collaborative innovation and create a thriving, inclusive and resilient future for all.
The City of Sydney has a commitment to innovation and people-centred digital services. They want to make life in Council better and easier – that means putting people at the centre of design and adopting the tools, technology and methodologies to transform the way Council understands its customers and their interactions with Council in order to better engage with them.
A key goal of the Unified Customer View Project is to build a consolidated view of each customer, and the interactions logged for each customer. This will be accomplished by a Customer Master Record Solution which will extract, match and build a single Customer Master Record with customer details from multiple existing source systems.
The solution will be built on a Data Management Platform capable of providing a wider set of data quality and governance capabilities that will be used for data profiling, cleansing, and governance management for any data entity used by Council.
